How can i not help this guy out...

by DocNasty 28. January 2010 18:05

So, i get this in facebook today and I think to myself.. how can I not take a min to help him out.. i mean, it's a great sob story.. I did some backgrounding on it.. it's true.  Ouch.  Well it took 45 seconds and i got my vote in.  Anyways guys, take a minute to help this couple out.

Here it is:

Hey everyone ... Connie and I have a friend named VAN for those of you that are in the Madison area you may recognize this name from Van Edwards on WIBA fm ... we need to pass the word HARDCORE and help his daughter .. please read below!

Thanks in advance
Fish
--------------------------

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi... It's me Van Edwards. Although I've been at WIBA-FM for what seems like forever, and I know we've been through a lot together, I'm about to do something I've never done before...ask for a personal favor.

This is a picture of me and my oldest daughter Vanessa, she's 25 (26 next month!). A framed copy of this picture she gave me as a gift is on the dresser in my bedroom...I see it every morning and every night...it is now more than a photograph to me, and here's why:

Vanessa is fighting for her life. She is battling Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and so far the cancer is winning. Her fight took a serious blow right before Christmas when we found out it had spread to her bone marrow. About a month ago she underwent a bone marrow transplant at the UW Comprehensive Cancer Center. The verdict is still out on the success of the transplant...but we remain optimistic. Since all conventional forms of treatment have proved fruitless...she is undergoing experimental treatments outside of Washington, D.C. (Fairfax, VA), close to the area I grew up and she was born. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated...but that's not all I'm asking.

Vanessa and her husband Mike were married in a civil ceremony before his deployment to Qatar (he is in the Air Force). We were going to plan a wedding "celebration" for this coming summer in Madison...but the diagnosis of cancer put everything on hold. Several months ago one of Mike & Vanessa's friends entered them in a contest for a "Dream Wedding Giveaway"...a complete wedding package valued at $100,000 put together by businesses in the San Francisco area. For once we received some good news as Mike & Vanessa are one of five couples in the national finals.

Here comes the favor. The winner will be determined by national online voting. I have provided a link below and am asking you to cast a vote for Mike & Vanessa Hawkins (couple #204). To cast a vote requires an email address and it's one vote per IP address which means everyone can't vote from the same system at work or they will cancel each other out. By giving your email address, I'm assuming you'll get some sort of "mail" from the promotional sponsors (although I haven't)...if this creates a problem for you I clearly understand...if not, please accept my thanks for quite possibly making a dream come true.

Here's the link:

http://www.sfweddinggiveaway.com/enter-to-win/

Please forward this to those you love, and do it now because voting ends soon.

Please know I can never thank you enough, Van

My Love affair with The Planet is over

by DocNasty 15. October 2009 19:46

Well, it's finally happened... And it came with a slap in the face from my friendly sales associate at The Planet basically saying that they don't care enough about their current customers.  Really, had he looked at my support requests, and tickets, and discovered that not only have i been on the receiving end of shitty tech service for 4 months, but that i actually wanted to give them my business because I wanted to support my local businesses.  Yes, i've gotten into the whole 'Texas' thing.. keep local jobs by supporting local businesses.. be true to your school.. go aggies.. blah blah blah.

There are people out there that don't believe you should be rewarded for this.  So get this.. .here is my chat transcript.  I'm going to try to find some of my closed tickets from support to back this shit up.  I want everyone to know, that this is really the kind of service you get from them.  Mind you.. Before when i signed up they were called Server Matrix, and they were great.  After the Planet bought them out, service has gone to shit.   For the record, I linked to him who i'm going to.. http://www.1and1.com looks like it has an awesome setup and a great price.  Expect the servers to move sometime in the next 2 weeks..lol.

Thank you for choosing The Planet, please stand by while we connect you to the next available agent…
You are now speaking with Steve Dorsey!
Steve Dorsey: Thank you for contacting The Planet, my name is Steve Dorsey. How may I assist you today? (If you currently have an account with us, please provide your Orbit/ServerCommand login and the answer of your verification question.)
you : Hi Steve, let me get my info for you
Steve Dorsey: Thanks!
you : lol,, found it
Steve Dorsey: Ok great

Steve Dorsey: Thanks! How can I help out today?
you : I was working with a sales guy, and he was supposed to send me a quote. The server i'm on is garbage. literally, it's breaking down.. basically, I've had nothing but trouble with it the last few months
Steve Dorsey: Ah, Ok. One moment, let me take a look
you : So, I've been waiting on this quote now for a while, sent an email to request it again, and i've not gotten anything back
Steve Dorsey: I'm actually not seeing any activity on the account. Do you remember who you spoke with?
you : off the top of my head, no. I think his name started wtih a D tho. He sent me his email address and contact information, but it's on my home system
you : so, you don't have any record of me in the last few days calling up customer service, or talking to sales
Steve Dorsey: We do, but it would have a separate system for sales related activity. It would be the sales person's responsibility to input the specifics of the data into this system
Steve Dorsey: I could get you with another sales person if you would like
you : Okay, in the last customer service entry then, it should say that she transferred me to sales guy 'his name' then
Steve Dorsey: It would be dropped into a sales "queue", a line of sales people rather than a specific person. I don't think we can pull it up that way.
you : ahhh, gotcha.
you : yeah, if you want to send me over to a sales guy, that would be great
you : i guess i can start this process over again
Steve Dorsey: Ok, no problem. Do you have your orbit username available?
you : Steve Dorsey: Ok great you : c22931data you : wagner
Steve Dorsey: I'll speed you through to a sales specialist since I know you've already been through this once
you : yep, there ya go
Steve Dorsey: Ah, sorry about that
you : oh kewl, smileys work in here.. it's hard to annunciate voice inflection when typing in here :d
you : but big toothy grins don't work
Steve Dorsey: Yeah, usually they tell us not to because it doesn't give off a professional feel, but sometimes I interject them because it's more of a personal touch :D
Steve Dorsey: Ok great, I've put in your info and will transfer you to a sales specialist now.
you : kewl, thanks Steve
Please hold while your chat is transferred to another agent.
Steve Dorsey left the chat.
You are now speaking with Adron!
Adron: Thank you for contacting The Planet, my name is Adron. How may I assist you today? (If you currently have an account with us, please provide your Orbit/ServerCommand login and the answer of your verification question.)

Adron: Hello, I have the previous chat.
you : oh, good deal.
you : Hey Adron, let me give you a quick synopsis
you : I've been a customer there for a few years now, and have always had good service
you : the last few months, have been crappy. The server i've been on, is just failing whenever i transfer files to it, I can't update it.. the tests come back nothing wrong, but i can replicate my problems everytime
you : basically, i'm not happy with the service i've been paying for on that server.
you : So, instead of dealing with the techs i'm looking at getting a different server.
Adron: Ok.
Adron: So you want a windows server with 2GB of RAM?
Adron: This is the best offer for you.
you : Yeah, but i'm also seeing that you have a 10TB bandwidth thing
Adron: ..
Xeon 3060 Dual Core 2.4GHz
+ Single Processor Dual Core
+ 2GB RAM
+ 1x 250GB SATA Drive
+ Windows 2003 Server, Standard Edition

+ 5 IP Addresses
+ 10000GB Monthly Transfer
+ 100mbps Uplink
$25 Setup / $139 Per Month

Adron: The setup is free.
Adron: I can add that to your account now.
you : I would assume so
Adron: Why.
you : So, whats the total price going to be
Adron: The setup is only free because of the promotion.
you : Phew.. i was thinking that because i've been a customer for so long and the server i'm currently on is starting to fail, that i'd be getting some sort of consideration from 'the planet'
you : So, the best you guys will do to keep me as a customer is an out of the box configuration with no considerations for the fact that i've been paying and using a gimp'd server for the last 4 months?
Adron: This is a perfect opportunity for you to upgrade to a better processor with more bandwidth and free setup.
Adron: Every month we provide you with great opportunities to upgrade your configuration.
Adron: Do you receive the emails that when send you?
you : Yes, of course, but i dont' like to have to mess with changing up my servers every month. I look at your emails when i need them, otherwise, i'm pretty low maintenance.
Adron: Understandable.
Adron: You don't have to change the server every month.
Adron: I am just pointing out that we could have added this server to your accounts months ago.
you : Yes, you could have added it.. but instead, read thru my tickets with tech support
you : I don't want to have to reconfigure it if they can test it
you : To do that, it's gonna cost me a weekend and downtime, based on what they wanted to do. The only reason i'm shopping a new server is because if i'm going to spend a weekend setting up all my stuff and migrating domains to new ip addresses i'm going to shop for the best price and the best plan
Adron: This is definitely the best price and the best plan for you.
you : I've giving the planet first opportunity to keep me as a customer.
Adron: This is also the best we can do unless you sign a one year commitment.
Adron: If you sign up for 1 year I can then take off another 6 percent.
you : and save 7 dollars a month on the server
Adron: You are saving a lot more than 7 dollars per month.
Adron: This server is normally 169.00 you are getting it for 139.00
Adron: Bandwidth is 175.00 per month for 1TB and you are getting 8TB for free.
you : and that $8.34 dollars savings (basically sales tax here in texas) commits me to 139 bucks a month for each month if i have to break the contract.
Adron: If you are not planning on leaving then it's money saved no matter how much it is.
you : i'm also looking at the 1and1 servers, who are moving all their servers to unmetered bandwidth check their Dual-Core L - High Performance Server http://order.1and1.com
Adron: How much bandwidth do you use per month?
you : I'm planning on getting the best service for my dollar
you : If i grow to as big as i want to grow in the next year, i'll hit 6TB in 4 months
Adron: The best service does not mean the cheapest price.
Adron: Ok, perfect and you will be on a server that has 10TB.
you : I have peers that are on their servers. I have never noticed any problems with the services they provide
you : their stations never go down, and they recommended this company to me. So, it's gotta be more than adequate
Adron: Maybe.
Adron: I have not said they are not.
Adron: That still would not mean you are getting the most for your dollar.
you : Plain and simple, i'm looking to spend my dollars where i think i'm going to get the best bang for my buck. If you've reviewed my tickets with Tech Support on this server, you'd see why i'm a bit critical.
Adron has sent you a web page.
Please click on the following link to view it: Dedicated Windows and Linux Server Hosting | The Planet

Adron: That's our best offer.
you : okay.. .I'm not Greg Agri, He had setup a server for me, and for some reason, even tho i've talked to everyone there for years... and tried changing it, it's never been changed.
Adron: Ok.
Adron: That information was automatically generated because that is name on the account.
Adron: To get it removed you will need to speak with our billing department.
you : k, so thats the same promo everyone else gets?
Adron: Yes, it's a great offer.
Adron: If you were upgrading any of the hardware I could do more.
you : i'll consider it, but i'm not feeling any love here
Adron:
Adron: Is there anything else I may assist you with?
you : nope, i'm good. This is all i needed to know
Adron: Thank you for contacting The Planet. Have a great day! Good bye!

Top 10 things On my mind about Disney Buying out Marvel

by DocNasty 31. August 2009 20:56

So, they announced today that Marvel is going to be bought by Disney for 4B Dollars.  And then my brain started into high gear.  So, i had to make a list.

1.  What will the Hannah Montana / Hulk Crossover look like?
2.  Will the next 'I'm a Marvel, I'm a DC have Wolverine in Mousketeer ears?
3.  Toy Story 5 featuring Deadpool is going to freakin RAWK  (Take that buzz lightyear, he has swords in his hands, and guns..)
4.  Will they tone down the Bewbage on Marvel Comics.. Double D's in Zero G's made Marvel..
5.  Again with costumes, are they going to change the skin tight spandex with thick wool sweaters?  We gotta keep the Nipples.
6.  Who wants to see the Lobo vs. Disney Land cross over where he kills everything in the park.
7.  XMen 5 when Mickey brokers a truce and it ends in a group hug.
8.  Minnie Mouse vs. CatWoman  (You were thinking the same thing, right??)
9.  BatMan is now the Knight of insuffient light.. instead of the Dark Knight.
10.  Bizzaro Superman is granted handicap status because of Disneys strict PC Policy.

This is all thats on my mind right now.. but i'm sure there will be more as i think.. this is just whats immediately on my mind.  Here's a link to the whole story tho..

Miss. Sues Microsoft and Wins.. Why this is bad for America

by DocNasty 12. June 2009 22:59

You know, I feel i should blog this, since my reaction to the story was longer than the story..  But really people, is this where we're heading as a country.. think about this.

Btw, I conveniently aquired this story from the Government ZDNet website.  I'll link both here.  Richard Koman is restater of this story by Ina Freid.

Microsoft has settled with the state of Mississippi over the price of Office and Windows. Microsoft will pay the state $40 million and provide $60 million in vouchers to consumers and local governments.

Consumers and businesses that bought Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows ME will get $12 vouchers. You get $5 back if you bought Office (or components such as Word and Excel), MS-DOS, Windows 1.xx-3.xx Windows for Workgroups, Windows NT Workstation, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

“Microsoft is pleased to reach this resolution with the State of Mississippi and with our customers in Mississippi,” said Steve Aeschbacher, Microsoft associate general counsel. “We look forward to working with the state on issues of mutual concern going forward.”

Here's my response:

You know.. All this does is damage the brand of one of last great industries in the free world.

You have the state that is taking all the money, when it's the citizens that they used to back it up.. here's 12 bucks for your pain? Oh.. don't look at the 60 million.. here's a Fin for your trouble. We fixed it for you. And thats only if they claim it. Who keeps the rest?

This is the same kinda class action BS that plagues our nation as a whole. We've seen the effects of the car industries collapsing on our society. Imagine if MS fell.. Think about it. I'm a programmer that writes in MS software, and i rely on their ability to put out software for me to feed my family, pay for my daughters special needs, etc. So do 100,000 other programmers here in the states and around the world. It's totally irresponsible for a state to pull this off.

More so, the citizens of the states that put money into 401k plans that have $$ sunk into microsoft stock for their retirement, i'm sure, plenty of them living in 'ol Miss. The state just robbed them of 60 million too.

This is the same thing that came out of the States vs. PhillipMorris when the states started sueing PM not realizing that half of their pensions were based on PMs solid performance of 15% growth, and then they lost money when PM Stock dipped down.

Instead of Money Grabbing from corporations that have money, start backing the remaining industries in your state/country. If you want to rob The United States of our industries, maybe you should move to Mexico or Canada. I dont' want you as a neighbor. I served for my country. For those of you who think this is the right thing to do, go to hell. You're helping to bankrupt the country.

And don't give me the crap that Bill Gates has billions.. blah blah blah. MS laid off a couple thousand people. He is worth billions based on the stock that he has invested in the company. It's not in his pocket. And last I checked.. he's giving it away.

Fox News reporter Megyn Kelly rips Playboy "hate-sex" story

by DocNasty 8. June 2009 21:49

Ya know.. .I am a little urked about this one.. .No really...

First off, its pretty obvious someone doesn't know the difference between Hate-Sex or Angry Sex and rape.  Basically the artle was centered around a listing of conservative women they would like to "hate fuck".  Now.. Had they done their homework, they would know that Hate fucking is not Rape.. It's angry sex where you get your aggressions out.   Specifically, if you wanted to know what that is, it's also called grunge fucking.. and to be perfectly clear, Urban Dictionary (yeah, the real authority on these new phrases)  http://bit.ly/2v7n2O  "The act of fucking a person that you despise. Such an act is typically characterized by name calling, roughness, and immediate departure after the act."    Just to be clear.. I don't want people to think that i'm justifying rape, or even furthering it.

Essentially, Megyn Kelly needs to get off her high horse and be happy she actually made a list of names that didn't include the word 'ignorant' in the title.  Sorry, I used to watch fox/faux news.  I did.  But The morning show people are just horrible.. while the news may be fair, it's heavily opinionated.. not even to the credit of the station's political affiliation, i mean, it is personal opinions, which I've found, to be horribly mis-guided and seeded in cultish religions.  I expect Tom Cruise to be the next reporter there doing the weather.   Honestly, I'd rather watch CNN, and ignore anything political.

But thats not the real thing that pisses me off.  Someone linked the story in twitter, to which, i had to read it, and then i replied to it.  Apparently, CityPages blogger didn't like my reply.  No biggie, no worries, I'll put it here.. because thats the power of the Internet.  I think the overall concept of the playboy story was to basically say, 'these chicks needed a good banging.. and the author would do it if he had the chance' And I credited the concept to this video here.. from Manswers: http://bit.ly/avHWP (updated the link) basically, how to de-bitch a woman.

Time to get with the times.  My advice to Megyn,
1.  Learn how to spell your name.  Your name does not have to identify you as a beautiful unique person.  You are not.  You may have been at one time.. but years of conservative thinking has turned you into a frosty beyotch.  Time to change your name to something that stands out AND describes you.  I'm thinking something like Beaula as in Beaula Ball Breaker...

2.  There was a concept back in the early days of journalism called 'looking up the sources' You need to try this out.  You'd find out that hate fucking is not rape.  Luckily, I did the work for you.  This will keep you from looking like a dumbass.  I put your response up there with Gretchin Carlson's response to the Lindsey Lohan date video you called horrible and demeaning to women.. before you figured out it was posted on a humor site "FUNNY OR DIE".  Yeah, do your own homework, or fire the people that do it for you.. either way, it's not getting done.  Kapeesh?

3.  Lastly, learn to laugh at yourself a bit, and take critisism with a grain of salt.  Really, lighten up.  You have a stick up your ass, dislodge it.

Sincerly

Exceprt from the 6.6.09 show RE Jason Pollock

by DocNasty 8. June 2009 19:17

Good morning all.  I wanted to pause in my day and take a quick moment to clarify something from my show on Sat.  As I did have a very long show, 3.5 hours, which is about 2 hours longer than i wanted to do, but i did it anyways.. I mentioned something about Jason, and what he's doing.

Firstly, Jason is someone i would consider, "inspiring".  See, movie makers can do anything they want.  They can go out, record bums running head first into buildings, they can film jackass stunts, they can produce the next 20 grind house horror flicks, or, they can actually do something beneficial to our country, and inspire the kids.  See, thats what i really like about his project.  If you go to his website - http://www.theyoungestcandidate.com and watch the tailer.. you'll see what i mean.  This movie chronicles the journey of 4 teen candidates who are working to change their community.  It's an awesome documentary, and i'm waiting to see it..

I've been on this 'open your eyes..' and 'change the system' kick for a while, and to see kids step up and take control of their community is a positive step in changing how the current political system is being ran.  I just hope they're mature enough to say no to corruption, we all know it's out there.

I really do hope that America starts to figure out that the future of our great country belongs to the children, and we should let them have more of a say in it, since they are the ones stuck with it.  Statistically speaking, i've hit the half-way point in my life expectency.. so technically, i'm over the hump.. So what is there left to do but support these kids, and be there to mentor them.

So, Gratz to Jason.. you can follow him on twitter on the right hand side of my column.  He just got his film picked up to be shown @ some swanky hollywood movie theater...and he's very excited about it.. You gotta watch his announcement here:  http://cli.gs/meP0nn   Things are really flying high for the guy right now, he's been on Air America, the guy who did the Obama poster did his movie poster, and he's really picking up steam.  Really, i encourage you to go out there and see this movie and support it.. more so, I know this is more of an adult blog.. show the movie and stuff to your kids, and to your neices and nephews.  Let them know that if they are unhappy with the way their world is going, to get involved with it.

Here are some extra links tho to read and/or pass on:

TieWeb CD Reviewed - Putting the Die in Indie Music

by DocNasty 5. June 2009 06:47

No really, thats their words, not mine.. on the cd, it says.. putting the die in Indie music.

So, i got this CD mid May, and finally cracked it open tonight.  In order to get psyched up for it, I resorted to running for 2 straight days to get delierious enough to listen to the band.  So, lets do first impressions.  Those are key.  I get this picture with the band:

Yeah.. its a bit corny.. but atleast it shows they got spirit.  Don't worry tho, their music is better than their photo taking skills.  I've taken into account tho, that it was probably new years eve, and they possibly were drunk.  Another plus in my book..  Because they don't look like a bunch of Superheros who are really hung up on 2009 being the year of Wolverine.

There self description is:  The most eccentric band on the planet.  (Prince is eccentric.. Elton John... Eccentric..) Maybe if they had feathers on their masks, I could see it.. atleast they got the sequens on there.. so, 1 outa 2 ain't bad.   So, where does that leave the music portion.

Them:  Their influences include Herbie Hancock to REM to the Pixies.
Me:  Thank gawd they didn't say Bobby McFarrin.. but yeah, i can see it.  But go early REM, early pixies, and a touch of Cranberries.  Surprisingly, the lyrics are rather interesting.  I liked them.  I'm a rocker by nature, this music is something I haven't listened to in a long time.. but it's got melody, it's got beat, it's got rythem, and the lyrics don't suck.  Honestly, this is one of those CDs I would put on while i'm cleaning the house, or doing homework.   There are up-beat catchy songs on the CD, like, Baby Don't Cry.  But all in all, it's a really well put together album.  The band is pretty solid.  I've listened to it twice now writing this review.  I'm not sick of it, nor have i grown a mangina.

When you come against a band like this, they know that they're only strong enough to maybe break out of the the local scene and maybe hit it big in the tri-state area, thats okay because they totally soak it up and celebrate the fact of where they are.  They have embraced the Indie scene (Their last album was named 'Indier Than Thow').  It shows that they're happy, relaxed, and comfortable with where they are.  Thats what makes a good indie band.  I really want to see how far they can go.  But for now, i'd say their music would be good enough to open for DMB if they had a contest to do it.. I think they'd win..

So, Over all, I'd give their CD an 8 outa 10.  1 being totally fake, and 10 being Totally Genuine and Sincere.  There are no bad songs on the album.  They're 4 guys who love what they do, and it shows on their album.  I'd say check 'em out, go hit their myspace page, and add them to your list.  I can't say that they'd fit in with one of my shows, but they def. will get a song or 2 onto the Auto stream of KrushRadio.

You can find them at:  http://www.tiewebmusic.com   or   http://www.myspace.com/tiewebband  (baylesy@yahoo.com if you want to email them)

Also, if you don't like them, #BlameDrewsCancer.  We have discovered that it's the root of all evil in America.  Turns out we were wrong.. it wasn't money or greed.

You didn't come here for soap

by DocNasty 27. May 2009 05:01

Honesty... When you saw my tweet, did you really come here thinking i was going to give you a nonsense survey to gather marketing data and honestly look deep inside your psyche and return to you what kind of soap you best relate to?  GAWD I HOPE NOT.  If you really wanted that, you'd be surfing inefficient websites like myspace and facebook.. you know the ones that you find 2000 people that you can friend, that never respond to you.

Whats the real point of pouring your emotions into a private message to someone who isn't really going to read it.  You're a notch on their CyberBedpost.  Hey look at me, i have 2000 people that are my 'friends' because myspace told me they were my friends.  But wait.. Friends wouldn't ignore you, right?  Try sending a message to Dave Navarro, or Trent Reznor... or hell, try sending a message to P Diddy, or Ashton Kutcher.. 99% chance you're not going to get a reply back.

Thats the big problem with alot of the social networking sites, because for most of them, they see you as consumers.  You're another fan.  But there are some bands out there that are learning to leverage the power of personal.  Here is the best one.  www.twitter.com/collective_soul  aka @collective_soul.  They actually read the tweets, they pay attention, they're learning to interact with the fanbase.  You have to respect a band that has embraced this simple concept.  Be good to the people who like you.  Go figure.  It's catching on too.  Read the article over @webaddict's blog.   http://bit.ly/twittercelebrity

So, why did i trick you to come here?  One is for purely selfish reasons.  This is my entry into a Contest to win some really kewl stuff from Collective Soul.  <Hate me.. it's okay>

But more so... It's to get you to enter it too!  Everyone can enter, here are the simple rules:
Go read their blog:  http://www.collectivesoul.com/blog/, Go Follow them on Twitter, and Blog about them (don't blog on myspace... myspace blocks everyone but friends from reading, so it doesn't count)

Here's what you can win:
1st Prize: 2 Tickets to any show, 2 backstage passes, AUTOGRAPHED GUITAR and a copy of new album
2nd Prize: 2 Tickets, Autographed Guitar Pick and a Copy of the new Album
3rd Prize: Copy of New Album, Autographed Picture, Autographed Drumsticks & Guitar Pick

The more creative you are, the better chance you have at winning this Contest.  Really, go check it out.
While you're there, go to http://www.collectivesoul.com/news/ and check out about their new 2009 tour.

Show 5.23.2009 - KrushRadio

by DocNasty 24. May 2009 23:17

Hey all,

Big show on Saturday.  It was really fun too.  Our featured band was Loyal Enemy (www.myspace.com/loyalenemy , http://twitter.com/loyalenemy) And their music is available on iTunes, Rhapsody, and our favorite, AmazonMP3.  So, special thanks to BuzzEdition, IndescreetTweet, WebAddict, and the rest of you guys that RT'd my show.

We also talked about collective soul (@collective_soul) www.collectivesoul.com and how they've jumped onto the social networking train.  They've posted videos, small pieces of songs, etc, and we've been able to hear some drum tracks, etc.  Go check out their website for more information.

Anyways, The Shows rock, and I got some great feedback on it.  So, next time tune in.  Every Saturday night 10-12 Eastern.  I'll be blogging more later on.

Who is DocNasty

Okay.. pet peeves.. i'm not MR. Nasty, Mr. Doc, DJ DocNasty, or anything like that.  I'm like Cher or Rosanne.. It's just DocNasty.  I let the chicks get away with Nasty man, but only if they say it in a sexy voice.  I live for the humor in life.. even if its buried in tragedy.  Don't ask me, it's how i cope.

I'm up late at night on twitter, www.twitter.com/docnasty  I play warcraft on dunemaul (same toon name.. docnasty.. see the trend yet?)  I really enjoy life for every day that i get to experience it.

Lastly I do a show on Krushradio.com every Saturday night from 10-12pm EST.  Tune it in.  I play music, I joke around, I make fun of dumbasses (yes.. the dumbass report), and I try to spotlight atleast 1 new artist a week.

All in all, I consider myself a humorist, an on-air personality, and a software developer.. Individual Results may vary.
